It all began with a post in a veterinary group on social media. I had the idea of presenting vets as humans, rather than the distant professional who tells clients what ‘Fluffy’ can or can’t have.

I’m sure most people don’t see us like that, but I’m also sure not many people really understand what truly happens behind the scenes. TV programs always present us as pet-loving professionals whose only worries lay at the practice, but we are human too, and we make mistakes sometimes. Not only at work, but in life.

I thought, if animals lovers saw our humanity, they would understand us better. And if they can understand us better, our animals would reap that benefit.
